Basic Lefse
makes 20 to 22 lefes, about 15 inches in diameter
Ingredents
4 cups mashed potatos
4 cups shreaded potatos
1 cup butter
1 tsp. salt
4 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
Directions
mix potatos, butter, salt, and sugar
chill over night or several hours
when cool add flour
mix and roll very thin
bake at 400 or fry on grill, turning once
when both sides are lightlt browned, place the lefse between cloth or foil to keep moist
let cool well
cut into desired serving pices and store in plastic bags for a short time or freeze
