Crockpot Beef Sausage

makes 4 servings

cook on Low for 6-10 hours until tender

Ingredients

1 lb Dried black beans

1 lb Beef stew meat -- cubed

3/4 lb Link sausage -- 3/4 to 1 lb;-sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

1 Onion -- chopped

Directions

Soak beans overnight

Pour beans and water into crockpot

Brown beef and sausage

Drain excess fat

Stir all ingredients into beans in crockpot

Cook on low for 6-10 hours

Check occasionally and add water if necessary

Serve with rice
